Marzvrover developed a Gemini CLI extension for the github/github-mcp-server repository, focusing on streamlining installation and standardizing environment configuration. Leveraging skills in CLI tooling, configuration management, and documentation, Marzvrover updated the installation process to use an extension-based approach and revised documentation to guide users through the new setup. The work included standardizing the GITHUB_MCP_PAT environment variable across different configuration methods, which reduced onboarding friction and improved deployment consistency.
