Masghar contributed to Nordix/metal3-dev-env and Nordix/metal3-project-infra by improving deployment reproducibility and expanding test coverage. In metal3-dev-env, Masghar enforced deterministic package installation on CentOS and RHEL by adding the --nobest flag to dnf, ensuring exact package versions and reducing dependency drift. This approach enhanced stability across development and CI/CD environments, streamlining debugging and onboarding. In metal3-project-infra, Masghar added Podman support to the basic-checks container, enabling Podman-based test and integration workflows. The work involved Ansible, Dockerfile, and YAML, reflecting a focus on configuration management, containerization, and system administration with targeted, incremental improvements.
