In June 2025, Mas Noble developed comprehensive Web Platform CookieStore Domain Parsing Tests for the mozilla/gecko-dev repository, focusing on robust cookie management and domain parsing. Using JavaScript and HTML, Mas expanded Web Platform Test coverage to validate cookieStore.set behavior across IDNA, IP addresses, and mixed-case domains, ensuring correct handling and reducing the risk of cross-domain regressions. The work emphasized reliability and maintainability by introducing testonly flags and linking changes to relevant bugs and pull requests for traceability. Although no high-severity bugs were fixed, the depth of testing improved the long-term stability of cookie handling within the web platform.
