Developed and delivered an automated DAST security scan workflow for the HSLdevcom/digitransit-ui repository, focusing on enhancing application security within the release pipeline. The workflow integrated ZAP for dynamic application security testing, automating vulnerability scans and filtering alerts to streamline the identification of security issues. Encrypted reporting was implemented to ensure secure handling of scan results, supporting faster remediation and improved feedback cycles for releases. The solution leveraged YAML for workflow configuration and incorporated skills in automation, continuous integration, and security testing. This work strengthened the security posture of the project by embedding robust, automated security checks into the development process.
