Worked on the wireapp/wire-builds repository with a focus on maintaining service stability by addressing a regression in Coturn rate-limiting. The primary engineering effort involved reverting recent changes by downgrading the Coturn dependency, thereby restoring previous service behavior and preventing disruptions in voice and media relay functionality. This process required careful build system and dependency management, utilizing Shell scripting to ensure a smooth rollback. The solution was validated through continuous integration and quality assurance pipelines, as well as code review, to guarantee deployment safety and environment consistency. No new features were introduced, with efforts concentrated on critical bug resolution and reliability.
