Worked on enhancing schema introspection for the mongodb/laravel-mongodb repository, focusing on improving how Laravel applications interact with MongoDB databases. Delivered a new getViews method to accurately retrieve MongoDB views and refined the getTables function to exclude views when categorizing table types, which streamlined schema discovery and reduced manual adjustments for developers. Refactored the dropAllTables method to boost performance and maintainability, ensuring more efficient database management. Utilized PHP and Laravel alongside MongoDB, applying expertise in schema introspection to improve accuracy and developer productivity. The work enabled faster onboarding and a smoother experience for teams building MongoDB-backed Laravel projects.
