Worked on the alikon/joomla-cms repository, focusing on improving the reliability of encryption features in PHP back end systems. Addressed a correctness issue in the OpenSSL AES adapter by fixing a typo in ECB mode validation, ensuring that encryption modes are accurately recognized during operation. Updated related documentation to align terminology and reflect actual behavior, which helps maintain clarity for future contributors. Removed an outdated test file to streamline the test suite and reduce ongoing CI maintenance. This work contributed to the 5.4 patch release baseline, demonstrating attention to detail in encryption algorithms, documentation practices, and collaborative code review processes.
