Worked on enhancing user experience and privacy controls across two Sentry repositories over a two-month period. In getsentry/sentry-wizard, clarified Turbopack-related flags within the Next.js onboarding wizard, reducing user confusion and setup errors by updating CLI guidance and setup notices using JavaScript and TypeScript. Later, contributed to getsentry/relay by implementing an opt-in mechanism for AI-related PII scrubbing, allowing users to control how AI attributes are handled in accordance with privacy requirements. This backend feature, developed with Rust and schema design expertise, improved transparency and usability for customers leveraging AI capabilities, reflecting a focus on both usability and data privacy.
