Martin Vasek worked on modernizing the CI and build system for the openshift-knative/kn-plugin-func repository, focusing on enabling compatibility with Go 1.23. He upgraded the continuous integration image base to OpenShift Container Platform 4.19 and revised the image builder format within the generate-dockerfiles.sh script. This work, implemented using shell scripting and DevOps practices, ensured the CI pipeline remained aligned with the latest Go toolchain, reducing build failures and improving reliability.
