Over two months, Op contributed to the confidential-containers/cloud-api-adaptor repository by building features that enhance multi-project and multi-environment deployments on GCP. Op implemented robust project ID parsing from image paths, enabling seamless cross-project image reuse and improving deployment flexibility for multi-tenant cloud setups. Using Go and the GCP Compute Engine API, Op introduced fallback logic to ensure reliable image sizing and API behavior across diverse project configurations. Additionally, Op delivered flexible subnetwork configuration, supporting various path formats in both configuration files and CLI, which streamlined network setup and reduced configuration errors. The work demonstrated depth in DevOps and cloud infrastructure engineering.
In 2025-11, focused on delivering flexible GCP subnet configuration to improve deployment flexibility and reliability. Implemented support for subnet formats across config, CLI, and provider logic, enabling full/partial/short names, easing multi-environment deployments, and strengthening integration with custom subnet mode networks.

Month 2025-10 focused on enabling cross-project image reuse in confidential-containers/cloud-api-adaptor and fixing project-ID handling in image path parsing to support multi-GCP-project environments. Implemented robust parsing of project IDs from image paths and introduced a safe fallback to the configured project for cases where the ID isn't embedded in the path. This work directly enables using images owned by different GCP projects, improving deployment flexibility and scalability across multi-tenant setups.
