Worked on the cilium/cilium repository to enhance CI reliability and release processes over a two-month period. Addressed EKS conformance by extending AWS token lifetimes in GitHub Actions workflows, preventing token expiry during cluster setup and improving workflow stability. Upgraded the Go linting process by dynamically selecting more powerful runners, reducing CI lint times. Additionally, improved Helm chart versioning by implementing minimum git hash length validation in Bash scripts, ensuring accurate version metadata and reducing the risk of mis-versioned releases. Leveraged skills in AWS, CI/CD, scripting, and version control, with a focus on maintainable automation and release traceability.
