Worked on the cilium/cilium repository to enhance reliability and streamline continuous integration processes. Addressed EKS conformance by extending AWS token life to eight hours, ensuring uninterrupted cluster setup and preventing token expiry issues during workflow execution. Improved CI efficiency by upgrading the Go linting process, dynamically selecting more powerful GitHub Actions runners to reduce linting times. The work involved hands-on use of AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and YAML for workflow configuration. Delivered both a targeted bug fix and a feature upgrade within a month, demonstrating a focused approach to infrastructure automation and workflow optimization in a cloud-native development environment.
