In December 2024, Matilde contributed to the SamyPesse/cloudflare-docs repository by deprecating and removing the DNS Records API endpoint that previously checked eligible zones for account custom nameservers. This update reflected new business rules allowing custom nameservers for any zone, eliminating the need for the endpoint and reducing future maintenance. Matilde’s work focused on repository hygiene, including clear deprecation messaging and thorough documentation updates to guide developers through the transition. Using YAML for configuration and documentation, Matilde ensured the API surface was simplified and aligned with evolving requirements, demonstrating careful attention to process and clarity in developer communication.
