Contributed to the ComPlat/chemotion_ELN repository by developing a user authentication system that introduced token-based access, enabling secure integration and laying the foundation for future role-based access control and auditing. The implementation involved creating endpoints for token generation and credential validation using Ruby on Rails, with a focus on code quality and maintainability through thorough testing and linting. Additionally, improved the Docker-based development environment by adding the jq package, streamlining JSON processing for development tasks. This DevOps enhancement reduced onboarding time and improved workflow stability, supporting both developer productivity and collaborative troubleshooting within the project’s Ruby and Docker ecosystem.
