Worked on the aspyn-io/uikit repository to enhance build flexibility by addressing dependency management challenges. Focused on removing a fixed version lock from a key dependency, the update was implemented using YAML and targeted the project’s upgrade readiness. This change decoupled the UI kit from a specific version, reducing build fragility and paving the way for smoother future releases. The approach established clear traceability through a single, auditable commit, ensuring maintainability and transparency. No bugs were fixed during this period, but the groundwork laid supports faster compatibility resolutions and a more robust development workflow for ongoing and future feature delivery.
