Worked on the Adyen/adyen-ios repository with a focus on improving stability and ensuring compatibility with iOS 17. Addressed a critical crash in the AdyenSwiftUI view controller presentation flow, which previously occurred when presenting a view controller multiple times in rapid succession. The solution involved caching a reference to the view controller earlier in the process, preventing repeated instantiation and subsequent crashes. Supplemented this fix with targeted unit tests to validate the new presentation logic and guard against regressions on iOS 17. Utilized Swift and SwiftUI, applying iOS development best practices to enhance reliability without introducing new user-facing features.
