He streamlined the .gitlab-ci.yml configuration by removing unused stages and reducing pipeline scope, which decreased maintenance overhead and improved feedback speed. Using GitLab CI and YAML, Matthieu reactivated previously disabled jobs to restore automated checks across Gradle, npm, and image construction workflows. He also temporarily disabled certain security and quality checks, such as Trivy and SonarQube, to balance performance and risk management. His work resulted in a more reliable, faster pipeline with clearer ownership and consistent build and test automation.
