Worked on improving reliability and maintainability across two Holochain repositories over a two-month period. In holochain/wind-tunnel, focused on enhancing user-facing documentation by updating the Holochain binary download URL to the latest release and addressed a derivation error through targeted dependency management using Nix. In holochain/kitsune2, concentrated on backend development in Rust by refactoring blocking logic for greater clarity, including semantic renaming of variables and functions and adding explanatory test comments. These efforts improved code readability, reduced onboarding friction, and established a foundation for future logic changes, demonstrating a methodical approach to documentation, dependency management, and backend engineering.
