Over a two-month period, Tuttiacc contributed to the holochain/wind-tunnel and holochain/kitsune2 repositories, focusing on backend development and infrastructure reliability. In wind-tunnel, Tuttiacc improved user-facing documentation by updating the Holochain binary download URL and addressed a derivation error through targeted dependency management using Nix. In kitsune2, Tuttiacc enhanced the clarity and maintainability of blocking logic by refactoring variable and function names in Rust, adding explanatory comments to tests, and preparing the codebase for future logic changes. The work demonstrated careful attention to code readability, dependency integrity, and documentation, resulting in a more robust and maintainable backend foundation.
