Worked on the uclaacm/website repository to expand accessibility testing coverage and stabilize UI behavior for critical components. Focused on implementing aXe accessibility tests for both the SocialMedia and Leadership Officers components, ensuring compliance across dark and light themes and handling asynchronous image rendering in Next.js. Addressed a key prop generation bug in the Officers component, refining linting and image configuration in the process. Leveraged JavaScript, TypeScript, and React to improve test automation and code quality, reducing the risk of accessibility violations and regressions. The work strengthened frontend development discipline and enhanced reliability for users across different accessibility needs.
