During June 2025, work focused on enhancing the instantdb/instant repository by delivering a flexible client uploadFile API that accepts both File and Blob inputs. This update, implemented using TypeScript and JavaScript, enables direct Blob-based data ingestion from a variety of sources, streamlining integration for client applications. The approach included updating TypeScript typings to maintain backward compatibility, refactoring code for clarity, and revising documentation to illustrate new usage scenarios.
