Developed an automated Buf Schema Registry Sync for the cosmos/evm repository, streamlining the process of publishing updated Protobuf schemas. Leveraging CI/CD practices and GitHub Actions, the workflow was designed in YAML to detect changes in Protobuf files and Buf configuration, automatically pushing updates to the Buf Schema Registry. This approach reduced manual intervention, improved schema consistency, and minimized the risk of schema drift across environments. The developer collaborated closely with peers on workflow enhancements and documented best practices for Buf configuration triggers, supporting both onboarding and future automation efforts while reinforcing reliability and compatibility in the release process.
