Maxime Beaule-Gobeil developed a loom-based resource management and leather belt crafting feature for the Darkrp-community/OpenKeep repository, focusing on expanding the crafting system and deepening gameplay progression. Using DM and object-oriented programming, Maxime implemented interactive loom objects that allow players to store fiber, retrieve strands, and weave cloth, integrating seamlessly with existing resource management workflows. The addition of a leather belt crafting recipe further extended the system, supporting new player progression paths. Throughout the process, Maxime maintained design consistency and scalability, ensuring the new features aligned with established systems and could be easily extended for future development needs.

December 2024 focused on delivering a major feature expansion for OpenKeep: loom-based resource management and leather belt crafting. Implemented loom interactions for storing fiber, retrieving strands, and weaving cloth, and added a leather belt crafting recipe to extend the crafting system. This work enhances resource throughput, player progression, and overall gameplay depth while aligning with existing systems for maintainability and scalability.
