Maximilian Parzen enhanced the onboarding documentation for the open-energy-transition/handbook repository by reorganizing and categorizing key resources into a new OET DNA Resources section. He focused on improving information architecture and navigation, removing outdated banners, and streamlining access to essential materials. Using Markdown and MDX, Maximilian restructured content to group resources under Software, Open Energy Modelling, Open Data, and Open Source Optimization Solver, each with direct links to relevant articles and tools. This work addressed onboarding clarity and knowledge sharing, enabling new contributors to ramp up more efficiently. The contribution demonstrated depth in documentation modernization and technical writing.
