Worked on eclipse-sirius/sirius-web to address a cross-platform inconsistency in redo shortcut handling within the web editor. Focused on frontend development using JavaScript, React, and TypeScript, the solution unified redo behavior by recognizing both Ctrl+Y on Windows and Ctrl+Shift+Z on Linux and macOS. This approach resolved confusion for users switching between operating systems and improved the overall user experience by ensuring consistent keyboard shortcuts. The fix was implemented, validated, and merged, directly reducing potential support issues related to shortcut discrepancies. The work demonstrated attention to cross-OS compatibility and contributed to a more seamless and predictable editing environment.
