During March 2025, work focused on developing a new promotional banner feature for the hlxsites/24petwatch repository. This feature introduced a dynamically loaded banner in the website header, allowing users to close it with the state persisting via localStorage. The implementation ensured consistent styling and user experience across both paid and general header components, leveraging CSS, HTML, and JavaScript for UI/UX integration. By enabling marketing teams to configure promotions dynamically without code changes, the solution reduced deployment cycles and improved responsiveness. The project demonstrated practical frontend development skills, particularly in dynamic UI construction and cross-component state management.
