Developed an onboarding enhancement for validator nodes in the flare-foundation/developer-hub repository by introducing detailed OpenSSL-based key generation instructions. This work provided a reproducible workflow for creating staker.key and staker.crt files, streamlining the validator registration and node setup process. Leveraging Bash scripting and Markdown documentation, the solution emphasized security best practices by ensuring key material generation followed an auditable, command-line-driven process. The addition reduced onboarding friction for new validators by clarifying each step and making the process repeatable. No bugs were addressed during this period, with the focus remaining on feature delivery and robust documentation for secure onboarding.
