Worked on the docker/cagent repository to enhance reliability and correctness in backend systems using Go, with a focus on streaming protocols and robust testing. Addressed a bug in the Anthropic streaming integration by implementing per-content-block tool ID mapping and event-based routing, which resolved malformed JSON errors during parallel tool calls. Improved background task handling by exempting zero-argument list_background_agents from loop-killer misclassification, allowing repeated calls without unintended termination. Expanded cross-adapter test coverage to validate both standard and Beta adapters, identifying areas for future improvement. These changes reduced runtime errors and improved the stability of parallel operations in production environments.
