Developed and delivered a CPU profiling configuration feature for the sapcc/helm-charts repository, focusing on the Nova Hypervisor Agent. This work introduced new configuration options for CPU mode and CPU model within the nova-agent settings, enabling operators to activate profiling and collect detailed performance data. The feature was implemented using YAML and leveraged expertise in Kubernetes and DevOps practices to ensure seamless integration with existing cloud infrastructure. By allowing targeted CPU profiling, the solution addressed the need for diagnosing CPU-related issues and informed future optimization and capacity planning efforts, reflecting a focused and technically sound approach within a one-month development period.
