Worked on the cloudbees-io/kaniko repository to deliver two feature enhancements focused on artifact management and traceability within CI/CD pipelines. Developed new parameters in Go and YAML, enabling users to explicitly define artifact names and associate build artifacts with specific components. Enhanced the GitHub Action’s configuration and core logic to support these options, while updating documentation and tests to ensure reliability and maintainability. The improvements streamline artifact registration and organization, reducing manual steps and improving observability for enterprise deployments. Leveraged skills in DevOps, configuration management, and cloud engineering to address artifact governance and root cause analysis requirements in CI workflows.
