During June 2025, mdzraf focused on governance and contributor onboarding within the kubernetes/org repository, implementing targeted access changes to streamline project participation. By updating teams.yaml and org.yaml using YAML for configuration management, mdzraf granted maintainers and administrators roles as well as organization membership, aligning access controls with Kubernetes governance policies. The work emphasized traceability, with a clear and auditable commit history documenting all changes. Leveraging skills in DevOps, Kubernetes, and configuration management, mdzraf ensured that permissions were accurately reflected across the project. This effort improved onboarding processes and maintained compliance with organizational standards, though the scope was limited to access updates.
