January 2025 — Expanded data ingestion capabilities for CrowdSec by delivering the VictoriaLogs Data Source Integration. This adds a new data source to crowdsecurity/crowdsec, enabling ingestion of VictoriaLogs data in both historical (cat) and real-time tail modes, with client querying/tailing, configuration handling, and full integration into the acquisition system. Commit 172d6c6dc6a5a5484fa1de0938ab2be56ae7dd44 (#3310). No major bugs fixed this period; stability maintained and groundwork laid for additional data sources. Business value: broader telemetry, improved detection coverage, faster incident response, and a scalable path for future integrations.
