Mohammed worked on the openfrontio/OpenFrontIO repository, focusing on a global data name normalization fix to standardize the map label for Palestine throughout the application. He addressed inconsistencies by updating UI text and integrating the changes into the localization pipeline using JSON and front end development skills. The solution involved modifying the en.json file, routing all relevant strings through the translateText() function, and expanding test coverage with new end-to-end tests. Mohammed also produced UI screenshots to support quality assurance and review processes. This work improved geographic labeling accuracy, reduced localization errors, and enhanced user trust, demonstrating careful attention to detail.
