Worked on the haikuports/haikuports repository to enhance the build system and embedded toolchain support. Focused on upgrading the GCC toolchain from version 13.1.0 to 13.3.0, ensuring updated checksums and licensing metadata for better alignment with upstream sources. Improved embedded systems support by upgrading AVR Libc to version 2.3.1, which expanded compatibility for Atmel AVR microcontrollers and addressed known issues. Utilized C programming and Makefile expertise to implement these changes, emphasizing maintainability and future compatibility. The work concentrated on feature delivery rather than bug fixes, reflecting a targeted approach to infrastructure and package management within the project.
