Worked on the kernelci/dashboard repository to deliver a reusable FilterLabel component that provides a clear UI indicator for time-based filtering across tree and hardware listings. Enhanced the frontend using React and TypeScript, and updated Playwright end-to-end tests to ensure visibility and content matched the intended user experience. Stabilized E2E tests by correcting query parameters and aligning test checks with actual UI behavior. Improved developer workflow by updating pre-commit configurations, restricting frontend hooks to relevant changes, and upgrading the Ruff pre-commit hook. These efforts resulted in more reliable tests, clearer filtering signals, and a faster, more consistent code review process.
