During January 2025, Duv developed the experimental prof_threshold feature for the facebook/jemalloc repository, focusing on memory management and performance optimization in C. This feature introduced an always-supported, memory-based allocation callback with lower overhead than the existing prof_sample mechanism, enabling dynamic program behavior such as cache dropping and ahead-of-time out-of-memory predictions.
