Dante contributed to DefiLlama’s dimension-adapters and defillama-server repositories by building and enhancing DeFi data integrations on the Solana blockchain. He developed a Sandglass DEX adapter that fetches historical and daily trading volumes from the Sandglass API, improving analytics coverage for Solana users. Using TypeScript and JSON, Dante reorganized codebases for maintainability, enabling easier onboarding of new chains and simplifying pricing logic for multi-chain support. He expanded market data features by adding support for new tokens and currencies, such as MXN and CETES, and improved data management, demonstrating depth in backend and full stack development for blockchain analytics platforms.

April 2025 accomplishments focused on maintainability and cross-chain pricing readiness across two DefiLlama repositories. In dimension-adapters, relocated the sandglass aggregator from the project root to the dexes directory to improve code organization with no functional changes. In defillama-server, added Eclipse chain support to the Sandglass price adapter to price Ethereum-based tokens alongside Solana tokens, and removed the oraclePrice variable to simplify the price calculation, potentially boosting performance. These changes establish groundwork for easier onboarding of new chains and faster feature delivery, while reducing technical debt.
