In December 2025, Seswar developed the Azure Migrate CLI feature for local server replication and migration management within the Azure/azure-cli-extensions repository. Using Python and leveraging Azure Services, Seswar expanded the CLI to allow users to list, view, and initiate migrations for protected items directly from the command line. The implementation introduced new commands and preview channel versioning, supporting staged releases and improved automation workflows. This work streamlined migration processes by integrating replication management into the CLI, enabling operational efficiency for users managing on-premises server migrations. The feature was delivered with clear traceability, though no bug fixes were recorded this period.
