Developed a new ClamAV Docker image versioning preset for the renovatebot/renovate repository, focusing on standardizing and automating Docker image updates. The work introduced Debian image support and customizable regex rules, enabling more flexible and accurate version detection. By implementing revision support within the preset, the solution improved the precision of automated updates and reduced manual maintenance for users managing ClamAV images. The project leveraged TypeScript for full stack development and incorporated robust testing practices to ensure reliability. This contribution enhanced automated security scanning workflows and streamlined the process of maintaining up-to-date Docker images across multiple variants.
