During July 2025, Michael Green enhanced the backup restoration workflow for the Kialo Moodle Plugin in the kialo/moodle-mod_kialo repository. He focused on improving the reliability of restoring Kialo activity backups, addressing deployment readiness, and updating release documentation. Using PHP and Git-based version control, Michael managed the release process for version 1.5.1-beta1, including version bumping and changelog maintenance. His work reduced risks associated with backup restoration and streamlined recovery operations for end users. Although the scope was limited to a single feature, the changes demonstrated depth in plugin development and careful attention to release management and documentation alignment.
