Developed and delivered the ROI Patch Tiling Grid Plugin for the voxel51/fiftyone-plugins repository, enabling users to tile regions of interest into configurable grids with adjustable overlap for enhanced region-based analysis. This feature expanded FiftyOne’s ROI workflows and contributed a reusable solution to the community plugin ecosystem. The work involved applying data analysis and image processing techniques, leveraging Python for plugin architecture, and collaborating through Git-based workflows. By co-authoring the commit, the developer demonstrated adherence to open-source contribution practices and code quality standards. The plugin improved user workflow efficiency and strengthened collaborative development within the FiftyOne open-source platform.
