Worked on the GoogleCloudPlatform/magic-modules repository to enhance the reliability and configurability of the Bigtable integration. Focused on backend and API development using Go, the work addressed a bug that previously prevented proper use of custom endpoints without disrupting gRPC functionality. Refactored the ClientFactory to ensure endpoint configurations and request reasons are correctly propagated at runtime, improving flexibility for production environments. Expanded both unit and integration test coverage to safeguard against regressions, supporting maintainability. These changes reduced misconfiguration issues and enabled safer customer-specific endpoint customization, reflecting a methodical approach to backend reliability and robust testing within a complex cloud infrastructure.
