During May 2026, Ghaith Abtah developed a per-project Claude Code install target for the affaan-m/ECC repository, enabling repository-scoped configurations that support monorepos and isolated project setups. He implemented this feature using JavaScript and Node.js, focusing on CLI development to allow teams to configure ECC within individual repositories without impacting global user settings. To ensure reliability and prevent regressions, he enhanced the install-targets test suite by adding positive assertions for project-specific paths. This work improved developer autonomy and onboarding for multi-team environments, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to scalable configuration management and robust automated testing within the ECC codebase.
