Worked on the Yoast/wordpress-seo repository to stabilize the inclusive language export functionality by rolling back a previous export feature to its safe default state. Addressed a bug that could have led to unintended data exports, aligning the product’s behavior with organizational expectations while maintaining traceability through version control. The technical approach involved removing the manual export workflow from CI processes and updating test configurations by setting the doExport flag to false in relevant JavaScript test files. Utilized JavaScript, YAML, and CI/CD practices to ensure that future test runs default to safe behavior, reducing operational risk and supporting maintainable testing workflows.
