Worked on the DUNE/dunecore repository to deliver an upgrade to the auxiliary detector geometry configuration for the 1x2x6 horizontal drift detector. This involved refactoring and unifying geometry definitions across multiple service configurations, with a focus on improving the accuracy of detector representation in both simulation and reconstruction workflows. Applied configuration management skills and FCL to stabilize the detector model, addressing configuration drift and supporting more reliable physics analyses. The targeted geometry fix aligned the configuration with project standards, enhancing maintainability and extensibility. The work addressed a core aspect of detector modeling, contributing to more robust and accurate experimental results.
