Worked on enhancing message processing reliability in the SDA-SE/sda-dropwizard-commons repository by implementing a configurable maximum retry limit within the RetryProcessingErrorMLS strategy. Developed a dedicated RetryCounter utility in Java to manage and enforce retry thresholds, allowing for controlled handling of message failures in Kafka-based workflows. The approach focused on improving system reliability and maintainability by making retry behavior configurable, ensuring that message processing could be tailored to operational requirements. No major bug fixes were addressed during this period, as the primary emphasis was on backend development, leveraging Java and Kafka to deliver robust and adaptable retry logic for message processing.
