The solution involved relocating these lock files to the /var/lock/pddf-locks directory and mounting this location as a dedicated volume within the platform monitor container. This approach streamlined the organization and accessibility of pddf operation locks, reducing the risk of lock contention and simplifying ongoing maintenance. The work leveraged skills in containerization and system configuration, utilizing Makefile to orchestrate the changes. The update focused on operational stability and maintainability, addressing a targeted need within the platform’s monitoring infrastructure.
