Addressed a path-related issue in the fb_iptables_reload script by updating it to use the /usr/bin directory instead of /usr/sbin, ensuring consistent invocation of iptables reload commands across different environments. This change enhanced the reliability of firewall rule updates during deployments and upgrades, minimizing potential downtime. The work involved configuration management and DevOps practices, utilizing Ruby to implement and track the fix. All changes were linked to a specific commit for traceability, supporting cross-environment consistency and operational auditability.
