In July 2025, Michte Ting delivered full Dutch language support for the niccokunzmann/open-web-calendar repository, focusing on internationalization and localization. They implemented Dutch translations for the calendar module, introducing new YAML-based labels for subscribing, registering, and participant information, resulting in 100% translation coverage. To streamline future updates, Michte established a translation workflow using Weblate, enabling efficient ongoing localization with minimal manual intervention. This work enhanced accessibility for Dutch-speaking users and reduced onboarding friction, supporting broader adoption. The project demonstrated depth in internationalization practices, with a targeted feature delivery and a sustainable workflow, though it did not involve bug fixes or broader code changes.
