During November 2025, Dylan contributed to the basecamp/omarchy repository by delivering a feature focused on accessibility improvements for the Matte Black theme. He enhanced the contrast of volume notification UI elements, including borders, labels, images, and progress indicators, by updating color definitions to lighter shades for improved visibility on dark backgrounds. This work addressed readability and usability challenges in dark mode, aligning with accessibility best practices. Dylan applied his expertise in front end development and UI/UX design, utilizing CSS to manage color palettes and theme consistency. The feature was implemented and documented through disciplined, commit-based development without major bug fixes.
