Worked on the bcgov/PSSG-SPDBT repository to deliver a container image promotion pipeline that automates the movement of images across development, testing, and production environments. Migrated the CI/CD process from Tekton to GitHub Actions, leveraging YAML and Docker to centralize workflows and introduce digest-based validation for images promoted through GHCR. This approach improved reliability and operational feedback while reducing maintenance by removing legacy scheduling components. The work focused on enhancing delivery and security without introducing defects, demonstrating a methodical approach to DevOps and containerization practices within a short timeframe and emphasizing maintainability and streamlined deployment processes.
