Worked on the eclipse-zenoh/zenoh-c repository to improve the clarity and maintainability of API documentation, specifically focusing on the z_query_reply lifecycle semantics. Addressed ambiguities by aligning documentation with actual code behavior, ensuring that replies can be sent beyond callback extents and queries are finalized when no live references remain. This effort enhanced onboarding and reduced support friction by documenting finalized query semantics and removing callback-only assumptions. Utilized C and Rust programming skills alongside API design expertise to deliver cross-repository consistency, prioritizing documentation health without altering the public API surface. The work emphasized long-term maintainability and developer confidence in the codebase.
